Role types

There are two types of roles: Cashier and Owner. Each role has different permissions:

Cashier:

  • Access to 'Dashboard', 'Payments', 'Settings' sections

  • Request payments, issue refunds, view the merchant's sales activities

  • View basic business information

Owner:

  • Access to all sections, and have full editing rights

  • Edit and modify the merchants

  • Request payments, issue refunds, view the merchant's sales activities

  • View the bank accounts

  • Manage group membership (add or remove members)

  • Change the Group name

Process steps

To add a member:

  1. Click ‘add members’

  2. Enter their email

  3. Select a permission role

  4. Send the invite.

They’ll receive an email link to create a login and access the Business Group account. Invitations are valid for 90 days. The invitee must accept the invitation within that period to successfully join the Group.

To revoke an invitation:

The Owner can view all pending invites at the bottom of the member list.

  1. Click the ellipsis next to the person’s name or email

  2. Select ‘Remove Invitation’.

To remove a member

  1. Click the ellipsis next to the person’s name

  2. Select ‘remove member’

  3. Confirm. If unsure, click cancel.

Update existing members role

To do this you need to remove them and add them again choosing the new permission type.
