When the customer wants to pay, they may ask to pay with Payap, this can be done either:

Handing the device to the customer and allowing them to self-select to pay with Payap
NOTE: The logo could be one of the following depending on the device being used.
This will display the payment QR code on your device for the customer to scan using Payap.
The customer will scan the QR code using Payap.
Note: The app reads the secure data within the QR code and provides payment details to the customer in their app.
The customer needs to confirm the payment within the app.
Confirmation of payment will be displayed on your terminal and on the customers app.
Note: If the payment fails this will show on the terminal and the customers app. Follow your usual processes for this to identify an alternative payment option or to retry.
New logos coming soon…
The current logo’s for Centrapay & Payap are different, however these are being aligned to help make it easier for Customers to identify the symbol they need to look for. However, for some devices a logo symbol is not shown instead it shows the word ‘Centrapay’. The customers may need guidance to know Centrapay is the option they need to pick to pay with Payap.
